Species: ALLANITE-(Ce) Locality: Pike Wilton Quarry, Wilton, NH Specimen Size: 7 mm allanite-(Ce) crystal in pegmatite. Field Collected: Tom Mortimer - 2014 (Authorized visit) Catalog No.: TBC Notes: Embedded allanite crystals are almost envariably broken when exposed in matrix. The radiating fracture structure around these crystals is characteristic for this species. A EDS analysis on a Peter Cristofono Pike Wilton Quarry allanite from this same narrow vein indicated the allanite-(Ce) species.
